In Memoriam: Murakami at The Brooklyn Museum

Posted in art class, recess by Staff on July 13, 2008

By now you’ve had your fill regarding this amazing exhibit in Brooklyn that created a ridiculous citywide buzz and is ending today without my seeing it. There has been plenty of press about this for months and if you’re now hearing about it, you live under a rock! There was notice everywhere and just about everyone I know has gone. Twice, even. Woe is me. I don’t even know for sure why I haven’t. I had plans to long ago but excuses are for the … how did that quote again? Well if you’re like me and never made it you can definitely have your fill of the mania here like I did. It’s really interesting though I know there’s nothing like seeing the artwork up close.
